Dallas Mayor picks out Cowboy Hat for Mayor Carolyn Goodman after Golden Knights Win (

The mayor of Dallas is making good on a hockey wager with his Las Vegas counterpart.

Mayor Eric L. Johnson shared a video on Wednesday of himself picking out a Stetson cowboy hat for Mayor Carolyn Goodman.

The two had wagered on the outcome of the Dallas Stars - Vegas Golden Knights matchup in the Western Conference Final. Johnson put up a genuine Stetson hat, while Goodman countered with an original lightbulb from the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign.

Johnson admitted he was looking forward to getting that lightbulb, but Vegas emerged triumphant, winning the series 4-2.

"I'm a man of my word though, like every good Texan and every good Dallasite," Johnson says in the video, taken from inside Wild Bill's Western Store.

He shows off a Stetson felt hat, with an original Stetson hat band, a custom "bling band" and a hat sponge included.
